How It All Started
When asked his earliest memories of hunting Brenton responds “I don’t ever remember not hunting… I lived for the time I could hunt. As a small boy I spent hours in the woods with my dog Brownie hunting birds, squirrels, possums and the occasional raccoon. Getting the opportunity to deer hunt was always the highlight of the year. One of my fondest memories growing up in central Arkansas is of the annual hunting trip with family and friends. The hours sitting in a tree stand and stories told around the camp fire ignited a passion in me that has never faded and that I strive to pass on to my children.”
Brenton grew up in Arkansas where whitetail hunting consisted of countless hours in a tree stand hoping for the chance to see a deer and once in a while being lucky enough to get the opportunity to harvest one.
In college he met his future wife Rachel. “She might have had me from “hello”, but she definitely had me with “I’m from Iowa” he says with a chuckle. “Seriously though, I couldn’t have found a better match”.

Rachel, an Iowa native, grew up in a family of hunters. “I never hunted myself but spent many hours with my mother processing and packaging meat. Hunting was as much a part of life as mowing the lawn. I thought I knew what a passionate hunter was until I met Brenton. The man lit up when talking about hunting and I soon realized he truly did ‘eat, sleep and breathe’ deer hunting.”

Brenton and Rachel married in March 2002 and started outfitting that fall. “We started out with leased land and the guys staying in our camper or a motel.” With a lot of hard work, dedication and management things have changed over the years to include a comfortable lodge, home cooked meals, heated blinds, food plots, trail cameras and owned land.
They also added 4 hunters in training since getting married.
~Triston, the eldest, loves to hunt and has been able to successfully harvest a deer every year since he was seven. He has also been able to harvest a couple turkeys and has an obsession with squirrel hunting and fishing. He has been participating with shed hunting, putting up deer stands, checking trail cameras and assisting with hunters for several years.
~Lacie is our “mini hostess” who meets and greets everyone and makes them feel right at home. She has proven to be willing to do her part to get a good opportunity at harvesting a deer. She has very cheerfully assisted in building natural ground blinds and also enjoys checking trail cameras and shed hunting.
~Addison is the life of the party and loves talking about “big buckets” (big bucks) with the guys. Everyone enjoys her zest for life.
~Bristol is the newest addition and gets spoiled by all.
“Through outfitting we have been blessed to have formed lifelong friendships while fulfilling lifelong dreams.”
